My Off Days

So, what do I do on my off days, or even before I get my work day start and after it ends? I take pictures! I always have my camera within grasp just in case there's a moment I want to remember forever, or a silly face or cute outfit that just makes me smile. Sometimes, I even get a gift of one of my furry companions sitting next to me while I work and I can't help but snap a few pictures.

I haven't been taking my son--whom I have nicknamed Sunstone--to school recently, mostly because of the rain, and the fact that I've done something to my knee to keep me from being able to walk early in the morning. It is the worst right after waking up, probably because it is stiff or something. I don't know. But we walked to school this morning, despite my aching knee.

So, I was able to get a few cute pictures of my little ones this morning. It was pretty awesome, especially seeing as today is my daughter's (who is nicknamed Moonstone) 5th birthday. She is growing up so fast and it is both amazing and heartbreaking at the same time!

                                                            

I am blessed to have two amazing kids who love being in front of a camera, and who are so seriously photogenic it is sickening sometimes! :D I'll admit, I get a bit jealous at how amazing they look in pictures, but hey, that's why I am behind the camera and not in front of it!

I will likely have more day to day pictures to share tomorrow because we are having a bit of a party at my parents house for Moonstone.

Before I leave you with the last crop of photos from this morning, I wanted to leave you with a bit of advice:

Take your camera EVERYWHERE you go. You never know when that perfect shot will show itself to you.
