Happy New Year, 2017

Back in December, I put my photography on hiatus due to getting a full-time job and wanting to spend the holidays with friends and family. I've still been doing some photography, here and there, and I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year! Welcome, 2017! May you be a wonderful year <3

Christmas with Friends

Nothing is better than spending some time with friends and family, decorating the Christmas tree!

Friendsgiving

Thanksgiving is coming up, and I got a cute banner and some pumpkins from Target on the serious cheap, so I decided to set up a little session for my kids and their adopted cousin. We definitely have a favourite spot at Veteran's Park (we call it the Faerie Tree, and whenever we visit that area of the park, all three kids have to find pine cones and leaves and other things to offer the faeries). Before we headed out, I grabbed my piano bench and stuffed it in the trunk. It makes a perfect prop for sessions, and I never even realised it!

Weekend Adventures

On Saturday we went out to the San Pedro National Conservation Area (one of my favourite places!), and I was able to get some photos of all three kids,

I even got one of Sharron (my close friend, Nana to my kids, Mummy to HL, and the woman I adopted as my 3rd mum after moving here and having no family at that point).

Pretty Princess

Halloween 2016

I hope everyone had a safe and successful Halloween! We had a fun filled afternoon and evening, even though we ended the night with meltdowns and tears. It happens, right? I was able to get some awesome shots of all three kids (my two and my friends daughter), and they were all so adorable! I even got to do a bit of an impromptu photo session with my daughter (I'll post the majority of her pictures later).

And I cannot forget the lovely sunset we were graced with!
